The 39 Steps by John Buchan – An Immersive Experience This groundbreaking interactive novel is a digital adaptation of the original man-on-the run thriller written by John Buchan in 1915. Players will be transported back to 1914 London and take on the role of Richard Hannay who has been framed for a murder he didn't commit. He must escape the Capital and stay alive long enough to solve the riddle of The 39 Steps. Hand-Painted Environments & Authentic Materials The game features hundreds of hand-painted digital environments, as well as authentic materials from the 1910s. Players are encouraged to explore these environments, uncover secrets and collect 25 items along the way. Furthermore, an original soundtrack composed by Si Begg and theatrical voice performances from actors like Ian Hanmore, Greg Hemphill and Benny Young add further depth to this immersive experience. Rewards & Awards Throughout The 39 Steps there are eight different storytelling mechanics that players will have to master in order to complete their mission.
